The Florida Joint Care Institute Welcomes James P. Donovan M.D. to its practice.As an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in the care of the upper extremity, Dr. Donovan will provide operative and non-operative care for hands, wrists, elbows, arms and shoulders.
Dr. Donovan earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from The University of Kentucky and his M.D. Degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his Internship in General Surgery at The Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus Ohio, followed by his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Mclaren Regional Medical Center in Flint Michigan, and completed his Fellowship training at The Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville Kentucky.
He will provide Orthopaedic care for all ages specializing in the Upper Extremity including care for fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve compression syndromes, osteoarthritis, tendon reconstruction, sports injuries, shoulder replacement and rotator cuff surgeries.
